Jessica Spijkstra
The enthusiasm of clients with regard to introducing a new trademark or product line is always very inspiring. The best thing about the profession is that I can convert an enthusiastic idea into a concrete step-by-step plan. The art is to adapt my approach to my clients' wishes.
Jessica, born in 1980, studied Dutch Law at the University of Amsterdam and graduated in 2003. During the final year of her study she specialized in the field of trademarks at The Institute for Information Law. Simultaneously she did an internship at a law firm in Amsterdam at their Intellectual Property Department where she experienced the trademark practice by handing several trademark issues.
After finalizing her thesus about 'the legal status of counterfeit goods in transit' she knew that trademarks were her future. Jessica has acquired work experience at another trademark firm. After successfully passing the exam of the Benelux Association of Trademarks Attorneys in May of 2008 she joined Knijff Trademark Attorneys.
