Sometimes logo changes receive a lot of negative attention in the media, like when GAP tried to change its visual identity. But this Facebook change is so incremental, that we do not expect the public to respond negatively. If they have even spotted it in the first place, since the company logo is not even shown on the Facebook main website: only the really big brands can get away with this (like Apple using an apple logo only, and Starbucks now only showing the mermaid).
