Last week was devoted to dance as the Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) took place. 365.000 visitors came to Amsterdam and visited one of the 320 events. No fewer than 1700 DJs showed off their skills during ADE.
Because ADE is also a conference, there were 3500 professionals from around the world who also attended. So, anyone who has anything to do with dance was in Amsterdam last week. Knijff too, as we represent many DJs and bands and specialize in trademark protection for musicians. We were proud to sponsor a networking party where DJs like Joris Voorn and Kraak & Smaak played a set. Like names for products and services, the name of a DJ is extremely important. So protecting it as a trademark is crucial for conquering the world.
