Warner Bros. Pictures is reportedly filing a copyright infringement complaint regarding a dramatic video posted by US President Trump, featuring music from one of the “Batman” movies.
The studio says part of the score in the video posted Tuesday is heard in the studio’s 2012 Batman film “The Dark Night Rises” and is trying to get it taken down from the internet.
The two-minute video begins with text that reads: “First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they call you racist,” alongside dramatic music. Throughout the clip, images of Trump and his supporters are juxtaposed alongside images of Democrats, including former President Barack Obama and Trump’s 2016 opponent Hillary Clinton.
Trump posted the video, which appears to have originally been posted on YouTube, to his Twitter feed, which has almost 60 million followers, alongside the caption: “MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN.”
Warner Bros. is reportedly considering legal action to have the video removed.
