Das Traum des JägermeistersRiding the coat tails of a famous trademark is easy. Just take the distinctive elements of a well-known brand: colour, typeface, name and change it ever so slightly, and you get your “own” brand, but with the benefits of the goodwill of the A-brand. Easy, right?

Well, not if you are getting too close to the brand you are copying. Jagdtraum is clearly inspired by Jägermeister, but its “copy” is, in our opinion, a bit too close to the original.

If this goes to court, it is very likely that Jägermeister will become Jagdtraum’s worst nightmare.
