Apple has a way of making things cool. And of course others try to imitate them, just to have some of that ‘cool’ rub off on them. But Comcast takes it a bit too far.
Comcast, a US cable tv provider, gives it customars a cable tv decoder, and that decoder comes with a remote. In an attempt to make their product as cool as possible, they have printed “Designed by Comcast in Philadelphia” on the back of the remote. Designed? What?!
One of the most recognizable parts of Apple’s brand is the phrase printed on just about every single product the company makes: “Designed by Apple in California.” It’s there when you open the box of your shiny new MacBook, and is printed in tiny type on the back of the Apple TV remote.
And now, Comcast is doing it. On a remote. With Apple’s signature font, no less!
Seriously? This thing has been designed? Not cool!
