Less logo is more logo

We cannot stress enough that a trademark should be distinctive. Not only from a legal point of view – generic or descriptive marks are not registrable – but also from a commercial point of view.

If you wish to identify yourself between the tens, hundreds or sometimes thousands or competitors, you should stand out. Your mark should stand out.

One way of standing out is to create a original and recognizable logo. This is hard. But try to be creative: even names as generic as “Stairs”, “Mouse Universe” and “Locks” can become a work of are if the logo design is well thought through.
