McDonald’s reverses logo

McDonald’s has decided to flip its ‘hallmark golden arches’. The company is using a similar logo on its official website, Twitter and Instagram.

The fastfood chain’s chief diversity officer Wendy Lewis states: “In celebration of women everywhere, and for the first time in our brand history, we flipped our iconic arches for International Women’s Day on March 8 in honor of the extraordinary accomplishments of women everywhere and especially in our restaurants.”

The website of the company is also running a campaign under which women employees of McDonald’s have shared inspirational stories from their lives.
